Contrary to popular opinion, hypnosis is not sleep or mind control, but is a method of enducing a relaxed, dream-like state of mind at the free will of the client. When you are deeply relaxed, your subconscious mind is more receptive to suggestions and imagery, causing a change of focus, perception, behaviour and concentration.



I am a certified Practitioner of Hypnotherapy, NLP Master Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and EFT practitioner (Emotional Freedom) with The Complimentary Therapists Accredited Association. 

Hypnosis, also known as hypnotherapy, is a method of inducing a trance or altered, dream-like state of deep relaxation in order to treat disorders of a mainly psychological or emotional origin. It has been practised in various forms for thousands of years by many cultures including Druid, Celtic and Egyptian. Hypnosis is recognised by the scientific community as an effective healing tool. A one hour hypnosis is equivalent to a several hours sleep, so it does promote relaxation as well as effectively treating a range of psychological issues.  Some of the issues I’ve successfully helped clients with are:

Everyone can be hypnotised, it is like driving to work without any awareness at all of what you’ve seen during the drive. Unless there was an accidents or ambulance sirens whizzing past, then you were hypnotised during that drive. If you have ever found yourself nodding in agreement to someone without having heard a word they have said, that too was a form of hypnotic trance.  My tailored visualisation journeys paint a picture using imagery and metaphor.  This awakens the emotional and creative part of the unconscious mind.  The suggestions I use help to reframe, transform and open the client up to new vantage points, which is both liberating and enlightening.  I use NLP to:

I also use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) as a powerful holistic healing technique to resolve a range of issues. EFT is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.  In the session we focus on the negative emotion at hand. This can be a fear, a worry, a bad memory, or any unresolved problem. Then we tap on specific meridian points of the body, while addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal to the brain. This allows you to feel relaxed and in control.
